Concern — Privacy Policy

Version 2026-10-17

Concern is a board game played on a physical board; the Concern app is its controller. This policy covers the app and the concerngame.com website. The developer is the one named on the app's Google Play or TestFlight page. Questions and requests: hello@concerngame.com.

What the app handles

The app has no accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking or crash reporting of its own, and it does not connect to us over the internet: it talks only to the board on your local network. That is what its network permission is for.

What the board keeps

The board holds the nicknames and moves of the game being played until it is reset for a new game.

What we keep

We keep records of games, nicknames included, to analyse and improve the game.

Through Google Play and TestFlight

concerngame.com

If you are invited to download test builds, we keep your email address with when you were invited, when you first visited and what you downloaded. Cloudflare runs the sign-in and holds the invitation list, under its data processing terms, and may process it outside the EU. A download from the home network is logged with the device's local network address only.

Why, and how long

We use this data only to run the game and the test, to fix the app and to analyse games (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). Nothing is sold or shared with anyone else.

Security

The app talks to the board over your Wi-Fi without encryption, so someone on the same network could read the game's traffic — don't type anything private into it.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use: write to hello@concerngame.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority — in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

Changes

When the app or the test changes, this page changes with it; the version date at the top says which one you are reading.
